'After over 40 years of having our own home, buying a 'new build' was a big step for us, and something we hadn't actually planned. However we were soon tempted by the opportunities we could see when we first visited the site at Kippen.  We were able to see most of the house being built and were really encouraged by the superior quality of work and the high standards of fixtures and fittings.  During the build, the relationship with Mark, Innes and the various tradesmen was excellent.  On many occassions they went beyond what was expected to help us settle in our new home, and we're really grateful for that.  Very important for us was a relationship where any issues that arose could be discussed and resolved, and having been in the house for nearly a year that's defintiely been our experince.  We've no plans to move again, but if we did we'd certainly have a look at what Excel Homes had to offer as it's been a really positive experience!'

'It's always stressful buying a new home especially when it's off plan and in the midst of Covid restrictions, but we are so glad that we took the opportunity to buy at Kippen.  The build went to schedule, we were kept up to date with progress and managed to visit the site regularly.  We are delighted with our finished home, it sits very well in the site and the surrounding ground works compliment the building.  The finishes inside and out are to a high standard as is the workmanship.  We are now enjoying having family and friends to visit and happy to say their comments on our new home are very complimentary.'

'We really wanted to find our final dream home and wanted a new build around Perthshire, and luckily came across one of Excel's properties that was for sale at Broadfold Farm in Auchterarder. Although the layout wasn't right for us, we were blown away with the workmanship and finish of the porperty. Mark explained there would be a further development in a year or so. We kept in touch and continued our search. Having spent months looking we agreed nothing came close to what we had seen, and decided we wanted to live at Broadfold.

We decided we would go for the steading conversion. Mark and his team's input was invaluable, and during the whole build process the team were always in touch. When on site it was fantastic seeing it come together, and to have my father-in-law with over 50 years' experience as a civil engineer saying the workmanship was some of the best he had ever seen says it all.

Now settled in the house we can't believe how lucky we are to live in such an unbelievable home, it's perfect in every way and we love bringing friends over to hear the 'WOW' as they walk in the front door. To Mark, Hannah and the whole team a massive thank you.'

After looking around at available properties, none of which fully met our requirements, we noticed a small development with a limited number of houses being built. After contacting Excel, and speaking to Mark, the managing director, we were impressed by their professionalism, flexibility, and their attention to detail in ensuring that our specific requirements would be met. From the initial enquiry, through to the decision to proceed, to the completion of our new home, we were always kept up to date on the progress, and encouraged to be involved at every stage.

The expertise of the whole team, from Mark, Hannah, Diane, Innes and the on-site highly experienced trades personnel, resulted in an exceptionally high quality build, which I'm happy to say in now our 'home'. A home that is more than fulfilled our expectations.

The normal snagging list of a new build was non-existent, we found no faults with the build quality, apart from our own learning curve of living in a new house. Because of our experience, we would highly recommend buying a home from Excel. We'd have no hesitation in doing so again.
